How to nail your fall outfits.

Fall is my favorite time of year. It’s a time to transition from the comfort of summer into the crisp air of winter, and it can also be an opportunity for you to transition your wardrobe into something new and exciting. Here are some tips for how to make that transition as easy as possible:

Get the right shirt.

The first thing you’ll want to do is find a shirt that fits well. Look for shirts that flatter your body type, and make sure they are tailored to fit your torso. Avoid cheap, ill-fitting shirts that don’t look good on anybody! They can be hard to find when shopping at stores like Kohl’s or Target, so it’s best if you buy them from a formal wear store such as AlbertGerald where dress suits, shirts, and all tailoring are their specialty.

Next, think about the kind of material used in making the shirt. Be sure that it’s made from high-quality fabric that will last you through many wears and washes! If not, then it may fall apart quickly—and who wants that? You also want to consider whether or not the fabric matches other clothing items in your closet (so as not too overwhelm).

Finally: consider what season we’re currently in; this will help determine which fabrics should be used for each different article of clothing! For example: if we’re still experiencing warm temperatures outside during this time of year then think about wearing pants made out of cotton instead.

Wear a good blazer.

  • Stick to neutral colors to start your wardrobe then branch out.

  • Wear a good blazer.

  • Wear a button-down shirt when the weather gets cooler or you get invited to casual events.

Dress in layers.

  • Dress in layers.

In the fall, temperatures can be unpredictable. It’s not uncommon to go from warm to cold and back again throughout the day. Layer your outfit with a sweater or jacket on top of a shirt or vest so you can easily take them off if it gets too hot. If you’re still cold after that, add another layer—a scarf is an easy way to add some color and style to an otherwise drab outfit.

The Fit is Everything.

The fit is everything, and this rule applies to every piece you wear.

  • A good fit looks like it was made for you. A bad fit makes you look like a hanger—or worse, a sausage casing!

  • It’s important to know what size clothes are supposed to look like on your body. If your shirt is too short or too long, if the jacket sleeves don’t reach your wrists, or if your pants are baggy around the knees—these things should not happen with an item that fits true to size (also called “standard” sizing).

  • You can tell if something fits well by looking at yourself in the mirror from all angles: front view, side view and back view. The garment should hang smoothly across each part of your body without pulling or puckering anywhere; there should be no bulges or folds under any circumstances!

Bespoke garments

Bespoke garments can be tailored to fit your body, your style and even last you a lifetime.

Many people think that bespoke clothing is expensive because that’s what they’ve been told. But in reality, there are many options that are of high quality and won’t break the bank. Once you find yourself in a tailor-made suit or dress shirt it will make all other clothes feel like cheap knockoffs. You’ll never want to go back!

If this post has inspired you to get your fall wardrobe ready, we hope it helped give you some ideas. Whether it’s a new blazer or a pair of skinny jeans, just remember to keep the fit in mind when shopping for your clothes. It’s what makes all the difference between an outfit that looks good on paper but doesn’t work on the body.
